    Engine oil pressure

You can tee in a mechanical op gauge to use as a benchmark while you check out senders and gauges etc. Here is a pic of mine which is now about a 2 year "temporary" installation. It's about a $5 domestic water system gauge from the plumbing section at my local hardware store. Works great until I...

Wisconsin allegedly cancelling Military vehicle titles.

Has anyone looked into Pinz owners/military vehicles owners records to see how many traffic violations/accidents are recorded in said vehicles? I would venture to guess that they are a very safe group to have on the roads in Wisc. I would think they have a very low percentage of infractions per...

Two different wiring hookups for in tank fuel pumps?

Here are two pics of in-tank pumps. One has a plug for the electrical hookup and the other has what looks to be a permanent connection that is dimpled to retain it. Anyone know if the dimpled one comes apart without destroying the connection and can be put back together? or go into a replacement...

    Types of welding questions

OK Will, I found some spec tables for some MIG welders. Under the output column it lists DC current and voltage control. Under the various models, some have "tap" and some have "continuous" and one has 7-tap in the voltage control column. What exactly does the "tap" mean? Thanks, BC
