    WC-51 Restoration or Bust!!

The sun gods smiled on me today and let me clean and prime the frame. Needed to touch up the crossmembers and then on to primer. Little wind and it took me about 1 1/2 hours. Next will be to clean the brake lines and main full line. Supposed to turn cold tomorrow but back in the hight 60's...

    WC-51 Restoration or Bust!!

Well, finally got a break in the weather. We have had heavy humidity and frequent "monkey piss" drizzle but today was a good day. Started sandblasting the WC frame. So much crud and rust from a 67 year old vehicle but I could swear I heard a faint rendition of "Over There" as I was blasting...

Trying to hang in here on new updates

I too really miss the instant visibility of who is online. Any chance we can get it back. I really like most of the changes and the new Chat but the members online was a great feature.

    WC-51 Restoration or Bust!!

Couple of photos of the refurbished transfer case, pintle hook and the pioneer rack and tools. I replaced all the seals in the T/C and installed the Speedi-Sleeves. I planned to do some sandblasting today but we are having 20-25 MPH winds so I am back to the needle scaler and wire wheel...

To address surface grooves caused by oil seal wear, I installed Speedi-sleeves on the shafts of my crankcase pulley and the three transfer case flanges...
