i will be looking for a new baking plate this winter when i rebuilt the front axels. the bottom lip has come loose on mine and i am going to re weld it tomorrow. I am just trying to get every thing ready for the fall run at haspin and was not expecting this snafu.

does any body know if Napa has the return spring that goes on the brake shoes? I was adjusting my brakes today and heard a grinding sound coming from inside the drum and pulled it all apart and found the spring hanging from one side. I know memphis has them i was hoping to get it all closed up...

Is there a date set for the October Haspin run. I searched and can not find any thing. I need to put in for the weekend off from work this week and can not find it.

I am 6' 4" and with my spring seat i have not had any issues but more room would always be nice. GimpyRobb put some different seats in his truck, i a not sure how much room you could gain but they are more comfortable.

that is what solved my issues. I then went around to every light and cleaned the grounds and have not had any more issues.

I wont be able to make it due to a surgery tomorrow at 10:00AM. being hit by a car while walting across the street does a number on your back. i will be better for the next one, the doctor said that i can not ride in a rough riding vehicle for 2 weeks other wise i could reinjur my back.

it sounds like Joe will not be able to join us for this trip. His transfre case went out last time and he has not been able to change it yet. Hopefully he will be ready for the October trip.

The 3rd works well for me too. I will put in for it, they keep bouncing from working saturdays and not working saturdays at my work. I am up for camping on Saturday night for sure maby Friday depending on work and weather. depending on how many people we get i can bring food and cook if needed.

I used the same converter in my truck to charge a seperate 12 volt battery that i run my 12 volt loads off of. I also ran my 12 volt back up lights in series so i could run them off of the 24 volt system to keep the load off of my 12 volt system.
