Collector vehicle here in ND is a no go as M920 exceeds the weigh limit.
The other option is Anique which is super awesome unfortunatly it has a 40 yr requirement. Good news for me and the M35 as changing the registration this year will save about what the registration on my F350 is.
I...
What is really funny is when you turn stuff into DRMO. (first step in the GL chain or aquisition) They don't pay you a dime.
Now I'm not sure how the money works out on the LRS/DLA side.
I'd be interested to see where their money actual goes...
I can't imagine their operating costs...
Yeah I placed bids on 6 units today and lost on each one. They all went over 7K. I did log bidder numbers and total's to help on the next rotation. At least I have an idea that bidder x will most likely bid to y amount.
The thing is I've seen these start to pop up in truck traders and other...
In the event I ever win one of the auctions, I would love a page.
If anybody wants me to predict what they will sell for. Right now it appears each will go for the next proxy bid over what I have available.
Sickening as I usually have $5k but this month is a little low, still recovering from...
Soni, supprised you don't have running gear on that. I bet its easier cheaper and more economical to run the Oshkosh than the Rotary assuming it's still operational.
Fair warning even doing your own work, there is some fairly heavy components. The drums alone are close to 80 lbs and the center section on the diff is just over. Both are removed during a full axle service. Tie that in with 12 wheels to remove, it becomes a chore.
The only thing my deuce...
Its a State requirement there are very few actual federal requirements, mostly DOT standards.
In my case the M35 turns 40 next year....
North Dakota has a Antique plate, only requirement is age, 40 being the mark. As for the no plate that is a subsection of the law that allows Military...
Most people forget the expense of registration, insurance and licensing before jumping into MV's. My M35 gives me know discounts on anything...its a big toy, and a big expense.
I have no loan, nor registration and no current insurance, yet the truck still sucks downa few hundred in mx costs...
I've been bidding on 920's with no luck, could you expand on the CAT tranny and it being a double edge sword, I don't quite understand what you mean.
Thanks
No offense, I was just trying to get clarification, as in perhaps you knew something I didn't.
My limit is 5K because I have 10K available, item cost + shipping + repair + registration + insurance = I need more money. 10K should cover everything.
Cheers
I just trying to win...
So I missed out on one by dumb luck. Auction ended on GL at my max proxy-bid but was awarded to the other bidder. I guess there's always next week...
