    ammeter

Hey gwalker, exactly why I asked. Have an old Chris Craft with generator, two batteries with selector switch, and ammeter. Watch ammeter and charge each separately until charged. I know you can't charge individually in a Deuce, but would be nice to know how much they juice they are taking...

    ammeter

Anyone have an ammeter installed in your Deuce? Personally, I think it is a better indicator of whats going on with the electrical system than just the charge meter. Lets you know the condition of the batteries better and how quickly they are coming back to full charge etc. Any thoughts? Thanks, BC

Help with unit numbers on 1951 M37

Towbar attaching question. In the pic of the front of the M37, are the towbar adapters in the correct position or should they be flipped over? Recall a Bjorn thread that showed a busted one because of improper installation, but can't remember which was correct now. Thanks, BC

    Gasser Exhaust Part ID?

Too far away Too far away to do you much good, but my recollection is that the pictured crates all have parts for a gasser fording kit. Air intake extension, pipe with clamps to support it, a new mushroon cap, and some exhaust parts, I think a piece of exhaust pipe and a heat shield. On the...

    Medium towbar adapters?

Adapter size Some pics comparing an adapter with a 3/4" pin and a 1" pin. Notice a little more meat on the 1" pin adapter, so drilling out would weaken it somewhat. The tab that the pin hole is in is proportionally smaller. BC

    Medium tow bar feet ?

I understand that possibility also M1075, but that brings up the question of whether the 3/4" pin is sufficient for the job if a 1" was intended for it. Probably so, but just looking at options. Moot point now anyway, as gimpyrobb pointed me towards a set with 1" holes that I scooped up. BC
