Posted a want ad for an AM-1780/VRC. I'm not a very adept Ebay searcher yet so there are probably 10 out there but I just haven't found one. Any help locating one would be much appreciated! Thanks, :D BC

    Storing Bows

RE: Bow Storage Yup, mine has that same setup. Been doing some rust work and painting on the bottom of the bed this winter and hope to get it on the truck in May some time. As to the radio, I still need a few pieces, mx7777 and AM-1780. My friend Jim gave me an NOS MX-6707 still in the box with...

    Storing Bows

Bow Storage Here is a pic of a bow corner strap and it looks very much like the one on the bottom of my dropside bed which happens to be in a "snowbird" friends garage for the winter, but I didn't get a chance to go look closely at it today. Only the hole in the metal end may be a little bigger...

    Storing Bows

RE: Bows If you look at the picture closely, I think you will see that they go on edge and their combined width makes them fit snugly in the rack. BC

    Storing Bows

RE: Bows Paul, I think the strap part is the same as the strap attached to the bow corners for securing the sides of the top when rolled up. I'm not sure about the other part. BC

    Gasser lifter noise

Off the wall thought, but does that engine have rotating lifters? If so, perhaps the cyclical nature of the noise could be caused by a bad spot on one that comes around every so often. BC Edit: Had lifters on the brain. Meant rotating valves as in the exhaust valves of some older Ford 8N's and...

    Airpack Questions

Lee, it's been a while since I had mine apart and sort of figured out what it did, but basically, through the action of the big air operated cylinder, the push rod with cups etc. on the brake fluid side(front of the airpack), it has a great multiplying effect on the pressure to the brake...
