Anybody know if this NSN is for a Deuce starter. All I can find out is that it is indeed a starter, electric, but not for which vehicle.
NSN 2920-00-882-3401
Thanks,
BC
I don't know the details of this law, but in New Hampshire if a vehicle has been abandoned for a certain period of time, with proper published notices in local papers, after a certain period of time it can be sold off by the yard holding it. So if it is a titled vehicle in someone's name, the...
I guess it worked in this case. His truck is essentially the same as mine, 70 Kaiser-Jeep w/w. Has about 410 hours and 4K miles so I don't think it's too tired. Mine has an 85 engine and whistler but no idea how many hours, etc.
Didn't realize the different turbos were designed for different...
Had a chance to follow a non-turbo for about 35 miles today all around the area on good secondary roads with quite a few hilly portions. Power difference VERY noticable. He would be down shifting like crazy while I was holding the original gear from the bottom of the hill until I got right on...
My passenger side wiper used to start first and operate at at least twice as fast as the other. I bought a little industrial air valve and put in the line between the two. I get mine where I want it and then set the pass side. Works great all for about $8.00 if I recall correctly.
RE: Re: RE: Two small projects completed
Hey Bigbee, way easier than I thought it would be. Used a Hole Hawg for low rpm and a new Milwaukee hole saw with the pilot bit removed because I had the bracket clamped on for a guide. Got the hole started a little and then drilled 4 or 5 1/8 relief...
RE: Re: RE: Two small projects completed
Kenny, I had a feeling that you might have a comment about the hole for the trailer plug but I left it so I would get the most reinforcing value of the bracket. The safety chain loops have already been handy for hooking chains into when wrapped around...

That link doesn't work from here, let me try again
Installed a reworked CUCV swiveling pintle hitch and mounting bracket to front bumper and got my air intake elevated with some older gasser parts, another muffler clamp and a fabbed bracket and some heavy duty industrial vent hose.
I could use some clarification on terms here please. Earl Beverly wrote "Do you think a run of straight bio would...). What exactly is straight bio in Texas? Not B20 that we get around here? I guess I run "straight" bio for around here, but being only 20% oil (whatever they can find to blend)...
Ernie, I've been thinking about what I would try if I had your running too cold problem and today an idea occured to me. With a little research, I'm thinking that you could find a much bigger water pump pulley to install. That would slow the flow and circulate much less water and at a slower...
A while ago there was someone (or several) people looking for airpack rebuild kits because the usual suppliers were out. Did anyone find a supplier and at what price. I have found two with them but the prices seem very high for what you get. Prices were $150.00 and $139.50!!! Please let me know...
