I had a chance this weekend to mount the Curt 15400 hitch on my M923. The quality of the hitch is excellent and fit well. I dropped the height of the hitch by adding 3" spacers between the hitch and frame (10" total drop). I am very happy with the results.

Here is a link for the 15400 instructions from the Curt website. as noted at the top of the instructions the hitch fits a 2001-present Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD Cab and Chassis w/34" wide frames. I spoke with Curt yesterday and they verified this.

Could you post a couple of pictures of the underside of the front winch mount/ bumper area? i am wondering how you tied the lower bumper mounting brackets into the frame extensions. Did you have to modify the bumper?
Mine was a takeoff as well and has the doughnut shaped overload interrupt module around the positive cable. From warns website it appears the overload interrupt was standard on the military version of the series 18 winch and an option on the industrial version.
Andy, how much did you have to extend the frame for the winch to fit and where did you get the extensions? I picked up my winch last week and I am just getting started.
