    Deuce winch PTO pass-through

If you can find a transfer case out of an old M49 or M50 fuel/water truck, they have a rear facing PTO output built into the T-case . Some people have them and don't even realize it .

    Parking Brake Adjustment Issues

And therein lies a problem in my opinion, if your TM is printed out, fold it up and put it in the glove box for the next guy . Climb under there look at it with your own eyes and common Sense and just make it work right . Remember, instructions are just another person's opinion . 🇺🇸

    Parking Brake Adjustment Issues

Where that spring goes around that bolt, that's supposed to go underneath the nut against that steel plate, then you can run that bolt down and push your brake shoe closer to your drum . And that cable is adjustable on both ends but sometimes guys run out of adjustment on just one end cuz they...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I kind of suspected as I was typing, but I just sent it anyway . They are just a wiper seal like on an old Jeep or any closed knuckle, they always seem to be such a problem and when somebody comes out with something newer and better it doesn't really seem to be any better, just newer . I dont...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

This is all I ever hear about these, so probly never going to do them, I shall choose to run thicker oil and less of it . Let em leak, I ain't got time for all that .

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

    All deuce and a halfs are 5 ton on pavement, they're only a 2 1/2 ton off-road .

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Probly shipped with 40 psi because you only need about 70 to 80 max psi in those, there is no reason to have 100 in them on an old truck like that, it will just ride stiff as hell and stress the casing for no reason unless you are actually working the truck at full capacity .

    M35a2 electrical gremlin

And you didn't have to use good batteries for cores and throw money away at Crapa auto parts ! 👍

    M35a2 electrical gremlin

Disconnect your batteries from your truck, charge them up fully, and then load test them with one of these and it will tell you whether your batteries are bad or not, and you may be able to keep your money in your wallet .

    M35a2 electrical gremlin

11.9 at the batteries ? Is this a 12v truck or are you charging them independently ? If You ran it yesterday they should be around 12.5v each . I think the cooler weather is telling you that one or both of your batteries are tired, OR they didn't charge yesterday while it was running due to...

    Pair of 1968 M36a2

Long wheelbase trucks are hard to come, by I would love to have one . I can't even fathom cutting one up, but to each his own . That being said I have some front springs w/hangers should you want em . Those trucks look really clean in the picture

nice clean 1953 M62 wrecker (gasser) on GSA in nebraska being sold for scrap

Somebody did a pretty good job making that rooftop . That's a very cool truck I hope someone will get it and not let it go to scrap, I would dearly love to have it, but man NE is a long way from OR

Help! Metallic "Crunching" Noise When Releasing Clutch In 3rd-5th?

What Jeep Sinker said is spot on, and to add to that I would drain the transmission into a pan and get out my magnet first . Takes very little effort, and if there's no problem you can just screen the oil and put it back in . You need the drain the oil first anyway if you're going to look down...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

@Wreckclues Removing the electronic fuel shut off solenoid on my 5 ton and throwing it in the trash was one of the better mods I ever made, the manual cut off works fantastic . Edit: Looks like my truck is newer/different than yours, I have the 8.3

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

I used it to haul my M1102 trailer full of junk to a local Military show/swap meet . Small turn out due to Labor day wknd, but still fun, saw lots of people I don't get to see otherwise, and consumed some delicious Mexican food . Here's some pics ...

    M1009 replacement 12 bolt rear

The ratios are the same . If the spring pad width and wms to wms (wheel mount surface) are the same, then you're in business . The u-joint and e-brake cables are minor and most likely the same, crossover joints are common . The tape measure is your friend .

    Nhc-250 vs 6cta dump truck

Yeah I know the 8.3 is a gutless turd in stock form, I just didn't bother to take that part out of the quote . So the 900 series trucks have a weaker T-case than the 800 series trucks ? I've never actually seen one broken, they're humongous, but I've heard about it a lot on here, seems...
