The schematic as posted shows an LED that will only light up if you have at least one working glow plug.
If you want extra credit, you could go under the hood and put LEDs on all of the glow plugs

As much as I love Will L,, he pushes things like FASS and Leroy harmonic balancer/ gear timing equipment, potentially harder than they need to be pushed.
You want to plan replacing a harmonic balancer that literally almost no-one does… before talking about fluid changes on hubs, transmission, X-fer case, engine, power steering, brakes, fuel system…and discussing EESS vulnerability, replacing ball joints, control arm bushings, tie rod ends…...
Shift into neutral and see if it cranks.
Shifter switch may be fried.
Go behind dash and check start switch wires.
Run a hot wire to the solenoid and see if it engages or is fried.
Check wire from PCB to starter/solenoid and see if it is energizing.
