I’ve been debating on getting one or trying to get mine re cored. Can’t beat the price but am paranoid of wasting money on one. 4 core seems the way to go.
I spent hours taking sand out of the cab of the funvee. Took out multiple buckets of sand out. After a year of driving around and washing. Still pulled out another bucket of sand from behind the rear passenger seat. All those little braces and supports. Found a bunch of old fuses and assorted...
Not destroyed. It should have all been loaded up and brought back to the US of A period. If we left anything there it should have been about 235 square Miles of fresh glass. 😡
I like simple too. That’s why I go to fluid. Every trans that I had that stopped working or lost power was from a leak. Only had one catch on fire from the leak. You would think all that mud wouldn’t burn but if you put a load of atf in it. Dirt will burn. 😉
Is there fluid in the trans ? Even after topping off if it was drained it could take like 12 quarts if the tork converter was drained. As soon as you put it into drive it would take all the fluid into the tork converter. There could be another issue with a broken input shaft / output shaft...

I see. You’re missing the nut inserts in the A and B pillars to mount the top of the door frame. Pictures are worth a thousand words. I wish I was close to the funvee I would get you the correct size of nutserts.
Windshield thumb things ? On top of the windshield there is a PILLAR FORMER 12340031
The sides over the doors there’s rails with twits or common sense fasteners. On the b pilled the same fasteners are on the rear of the pillar for the top and rear curtain. Don’t forget the center support.

If the Fuel Density Compensator hasn't been bypassed and is working , you should be able to run any amount of the allowed fuels (oil, gas, trans fluid etc.) and not have any issues other than the ones previously noted.
Alignment will not cause tire hopp. Out of balance / worn ball joints will but bad shocks will let the tires hopp and chopp the crap outta tires. If you push down on the corners of the truck ( not as easy as said as done) does it bounce ? Is there any oil on the shocks from the shafts ? You...
