****NOT GOOD IDEA for full time use ... mayyyyyyyybe if it is nothing more than a Parade Queen.
Reason being is easy to understand. Look under trucks with no outer gear reduction or Portal design..... notice the size of their pumpkin... hint:- they are much larger pumpkins etc. compared to...
thanks..
Can anyone verify the LMTV A1 is different or not on these Spring Brake Diaphragms?
Can anyone verify if the LMTV and? or? MTV A0 is different or not on Spring Brake Diaphragms
Anyone's experience show the Yellow spread sheet wrong from A0 LMTV?
Interesting on what worked what didnt. Was either the not work or worked the same as the ones in the yellow spread sheet at top of this forum as shown below. Looks like what you found worked is type 18... This is spring break correct?
Spring brake diaphragm
Truck pro / Napa
Type 12...
in a way you paid out your arse for all these parts already.... aka your wealth of tools and knowledge is what you paid already...... kudo's. Definitely would become an overtly cost to buy them now..... cause it would be like paying twice in your case if you did.
that's the one (#13) I had to burn out to remove the bar from the truck cause bolt would not remove, hence why i suggest replacing the bolt with one that has built in Zerk for grease. IMHO that one you could create a fixture to hold a too long metal sleeve centered in that part of the swaybar...
Keith's thread started before this forum xisted in here. He added to it recently with some nice stuff. Figured it be good to have a link to it in here for others that may not be in FMTV forum too often.

Gurman hit nail on head.... it takes somewhere between 5 or 10 legit post (to show your participating and not spamming) before you can @so-and-so, use DM's, post pictures or URL's. Pretty common way Discussion Boards to be set up.
the secret to a more quiet diesel is use a water cooled engine. Look into a used water cooled diesel Big Rig APU (aux. power unit) and swap the alternator for a 24v one. Use a 12v step down to 12v, to run any 12v things on APU (sensors?). Advantage is you can set it up also to use that 24v...

IMHO I'd look also for using a bolt with grease zerk. couple sources for those. they do have them at Etrailer... but there are...
there is a rather long thread in here on trying to find available generic or name brand in right size bushing for the lower. Far as I recall there was no success. Maybe some of the resources brought up in that thread might help though.
Hence why on boards like this it is highly recommended...
@Jonas947 -- can I step out of line a little to throw a hint your way.... it really does helps others when members in here create Thread Titles that do more than just hint at the content of the thread. Makes it easier for dumb people like me ahhh I mean :D folk doing searches to find threads...
Found it... it is PPD (Polarity Protection Device) but you can't search in Discussion boards like this by three lettered terms. "Polarity, box, device" would be good search terms. They would typically fall into discussions on this topic...
keep in mind..... I just try to pass on what I understand from reading. so use it as a stepping point for reading further, cause I do understand things wrong (often). People point it out when I do and we all learn something new each time. lol (cept me.... takes a while to sink in)
Ron is...
Not sure why was thinking this was a 2005 truck.
So yeah... what Ron says.
PS- while your at it... there seems to be consensus in here with recommending two batteries not four.... and/or as mentioned above..... go to 200amp civilian alternator. Also as you try to test things... trans...
Yes can be rebuilt... can you find a place to do it... likely NO and if you did.... you could replace the alt. with used twice over for same price.
w/price regulators.... again your still likely better off to buy whole new setup. IMHO go commercial 24v alt. A fellow sells a whole kit...
Lot of watts in them thar panels. Right now I got 1000. Thought is to add another good number on the roof over the Jeep will be towning. That way can place jeep in sun if needed.. and or can have power panels with me if I venture further with jeep alone.
all my products are second hand...
