$1200 is pretty steep; IMO. For 1200 smackeroos they’ve got to remove both tanks and inlet / outlet and completely clean & install new inlet/outlet, new core, and reassemble, pressure test, and paint.

Not sure about the HMMWV’s but other vehicle lights needed clean mounting bolts and a good connection to the body as those bolts grounded the lights themselves.
I bought that kit. I think one of the large O-rings for the piston pump housing was missing. If you look at the itemized list it might show “1 required” and that might be all that was in your kit.
