RE: HELP! More transmission/clutch problems If your truck shifted good before adding the pto and then poorly after you need to add another shim or two in between the transmission and the pto the gear in the pto is pressing to hard on the gear in the tranamission .kenny

i like the copper . but use the plastic .the orignal copper has a thicker wall then the copper I found in the local stores it's just to thin . if I can I reuse what I can off the parts truck.

the height of my m269 is 51 inches .the deck is 25 feet and weights 14,500 that is be for adding 6feet dove tail and 5 feet folding ramps ,

the trailer looks nice I would not paint it . the tires look like 900-20 not hard to find new or used

the hoist work good I have a piece of 1 1/2 by 1/4 strap with a 3/4 hole in each end so I can use a lug nut to hold the strap to the hub and a clevis to the hoist . the strap is about 8 inches long . I have not used this on my m52a2 but it worked great on my m269 low boy' .kenny

I can't read the sign on the door .but it may have belonged to Weninuche consruction out of Cortez Colorado in the late 1980's they had lots of military trucks mostly 5 tons and some 10 tons . this truck must have been used to hual water the piping on the bumper looks like a spray bar .

I think trucks with military pant will always draw the attention of law enforsement . when getting my vin numbers checked my tan 1952 m-211 the officer knew it was military but my m-52a2 is white and black and the same officer though it was a commercial truck made by kiaser-jeep . kenny
