Condensation and milkshake in my trucks valve cover

so i went back and re read this whole thread. a LOT of what i saw is just guessing and wrong information. there is one thing we can assume and that is that the heads were not resurfaced. someone to cheap to do the job right is certainly not going to do that. add to that i have never seen heads...

Condensation and milkshake in my trucks valve cover

if the engine oil is black and not some other shade of grey or cream, there is just no point or reason to flush the crankcase. you will only offend the engine and perhaps cause some other issue. if you have lots of blow-by, there is part of your problem, moisture from combustion going past the...

    PU-821/T, PU-822A/T power plant recovery/op test

depends on where they are wired in. you can always leave it as 120-208, but you won't have 180° phase differance, just 120°. most things on a house don't care and i never have rewired mine. look at the data on your a/c condenser, it probably says 208/220.

    PU-821/T, PU-822A/T power plant recovery/op test

remove all the wiring from the gen head and wire it zig-zag. you will use all the windings, but it will be derated 30%. or just use it as is for 120-208 and still derate 30% and you will be using just 4 coils.

Strongly considering selling 002a to put towards 802a at auction.. opinions ?

802 and 803 plus others don't get water in engine from 'normal' storage. they get water in exhaust from extended storage outside with the exhaust flap open or removed. while this is probably a design flaw it is very avoidable.

    smaller steering wheel

without power, you need some diameter to gain leverage to turn it. with power steering, you can get very creative with location. i used a 800 series dash in mine, the column is in a completely different location than a M35.

Strongly considering selling 002a to put towards 802a at auction.. opinions ?

802's are still affordable, but probably twice the cost of a 003. 803's are around $7 to $8k in very good condition. fuel consumption is 802, .55/hr, 803, .99/hr

Strongly considering selling 002a to put towards 802a at auction.. opinions ?

thanks, i knew it was an exponential scale just didn't think. i just started looking for 002 manuals and finally found one that gave specs. my neighbor has a 003 and i have many 802 and 803's and the difference is incredible.

Strongly considering selling 002a to put towards 802a at auction.. opinions ?

you who think the 00*'s are quiet must have already lost your hearing. you can stand right beside a 80* and talk to someone, there is quite a magnitude of difference. the 002 is rated 79db at 25 ft and the 803 is rated 70db at 21 ft so you can see that in fact the 002 is 3 times louder than a 803.

1966 deuce trying to start after 17 years of slumber

right, do not ever remove that plug on the side, it is the delivery check valve. was fuel actually being pumped out the top plug or was it just pushing fuel up and down? if the plunger was stuck then there is a fair chance the disk fell off the bottom. loosen a cou[le of lines at the HH and see...

MEP-802a Fuel Sender-need cross reference part or source

the sender is just a variable resistor, it does not care about the system voltage. it is the gauge that is designed for specific voltage. the sender is 33 to 240 ohms just like the original so i have no doubt it is exactly the same part.

MEP-802a Fuel Sender-need cross reference part or source

i don't think that is revelant to the 802 which uses electrical sender and remote gauge. as the OP said the sender part # is 88-21162-1
