This one might be a random fix. I just took my truck for a drive…..been fixing and painting it for some time. Went down the street and the cab filled with exhaust/smoke. Well upon further inspection I found that the vent/pipe that crosses over the engine was gone/ never there since I got it. So...
Haha figured I had it backwards. Any chance you have a similar reading on the gauges when off? I think I might go and put some R134A in and see what happens.
So I put some gauges on the unit today while it was off. And got some pressure in there. I didn’t bother trying it while on due to the clutch not engaging. Attached is a picture of what I got. In addition I can turn the clutch by hand.
Any ideas on what to try next?
How to jump it to get clutch...
Got around to testing some stuff. So my volt meter wasn’t work. I just jumped the wires on the dryer and the fans turned on under the wheel well. I did not see the clutch engaging on the a/c compressor. Also the fan under the wheel well was running while in heat mode and when fan on dash was...
I have an M1152A1 with the stock2 man A/C unit. I am just getting into the stage of fixing the A/C. The fan switch works on the dash. The vents blow air but it’s not blowing cold. I don’t hear the fans under the right rear wheel well turn on. I did hear them come on once before for a second...
Anyone have advice on cutting and buffing the orange peel, dead bugs, drips, and sags on a Hmmwv. Lots of rivets and weird body stuff to deal with.
3 coats of clear to work with.
So I was under the truck today running some aftermarket wiring stuff and I noticed 2 wires that are broken. The wires appear to be attached to the positive block but on the inside portion between the body and frame. I think they are attached to the same location as where the starter is attached...
Reading and comprehending is a on the weak side haha. I have read and searched a bunch. I had some conflicting info that I read about the spindle nut and that if the arm on the cover that connects to the steering linkage is longer than it would have the new style spindle nut.? It’s tuff to read...
Pretty much have no idea what I was buying other than it looked cool and some other basic knowledge like it ran, drove and had park haha. Learning as I go here.
Thanks for help. Would rather get the knowledge from others to help me on my project than guessing.
Under the 300k. Could some stuff be Rev and other stuff other. Not sure if my truck lands in some sort of world with mixed parts?
data plats are off due to painting. If wondering
