    Possible rear main leak fakeout.

I'll bet the farm that your injector pump or your injector lines are leaking at the pump. When it leaks, it runs down the valley, picks up a bunch of crap on the way and down the backside by the flywheel. By the time it hits the pavement it looks like an oil leak.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Yup, 100% correct. I learn something from this site every day. Thanks (electrical engineering) "Hotel loads" The electrical load caused by all systems on a vehicle (especially a marine vessel or a truck) other than propulsion.

    M1009 value question.

I think they a very collectable and prices are rising as fewer and fewer trucks are surviving. Many people are looking for them not necessarily for just the "cool" factor but because the cost of a new set of wheels is horrendous. To have an original rust free low milage CUCV is in my opinion...

    M1101 painted and added bedlining

I wish they made a hitch attachment that is reversed "standard ball hitch to a 2" pintle ring". My tow vehicles all have the original military pintle hitches and I don't want to change them out to the pintle/ball style hitch just to tow a civilian trailer once in a blue moon.

Idle creeps up while in park after engine warmed up

Is your high idle/ timing advance switch functioning properly? Sometimes that will speed-up/race your rpm when/if it acts up. To test, just unplug it after start up see if it changes your rpm speed.

M1028 Washer / Wiper intermittent malfunction

Your wiper motor is on its way out, it will just get worse with time. It soon will be time for a replacement. Try a new one, used one, junk yard salvaged one, redesigned one, rebuilt one or as I did remanufactured one. Your choice, good luck.

M1028 Washer / Wiper intermittent malfunction

I have no issue with you wiggling your stalk or replacing parts with used ones. Have you replaced your stalk yet to confirm that's your problem? I understand its a tedious job to replace one and I was fortunate to just have a worn out wiper motor. I just like to have every thing on my trucks...
