The hose I suspect is nothing more than being used as a cable guard/protector. Follow it along the rest of its path and report back (pic would be great) as I do not recall anything mechanical in that area requiring a hose.
That area next to the doghouse is where power for radios and gizmos...

They use different rubber grommets. Some are one cable, some are 2,3, or 4 smaller cables depending on what gizmo is being used.
There are some one piece aftermarket rims out there but very expensive and scarce.
I think the range is 50-70's on power wagons. I am not as well versed on those.
I believe kascar sells the swollen extraction tool. I suspect cheaper than the supplier you were thinking of. No dog in the hunt but I found them solid vendor and most prices cheapest or in line.....

Definitely m101 or m101a1 axle.
Probably trailer salad. Very common. That is a m101a2 bed on a m116a1 chassis.
Buy a flap also. Also not commonly stocked unless you go to a specialist.
The tubes also come in different valves. Pay attention to the bend on the 900x16 tube for military or dodge...
Might sound crazy but old school:
Use a bar of soap and let the belt rub on it running.
Does sound go away? Belt is suspect old or dry.
Move on to each belt and repeat.
Red dot ac kit has a new water pump pulley with extra groove for an additional v belt for compressor.
Red dot sanden compressor only use one belt.
No need to have 2 belts on ac imho
Just leave one open that does not align with anything else.
