Hi Amy! Welcome to the SS Family. I started out in 1995 with a M1009 so they are dear to my heart too. It's great to have a few ladies in the hobby. You'll find we are a family friendly site full of good hearted military vehicle enthusiasts. Can't wait to hear more about your CUCV.
RE: John Winslow
I have always heard good things about John. He is so close to me, I can't believe I haven't been there yet!! The deuce is looking good outdoorbum! Congrats.
I've done major overhaul on axles after submersion in fresh water. Best case scenario for me was the axle was hot, cooling it rapidly in water sucked fresh water past the seals and contaminated the gear lube. The lube was whipped into a nice milkshake looking crap. That one was take care of...
Phew, when I first saw this thread title, I thought someone was trying to replace the 6.2L in their deuce with a 350. You guys who have been around for the last few days know what I'm talking about.

No kidding Mikey. I would like to see him drive it around some. That old 10-bolt might make it out of the lot and then grenade at the next stop sign. I blew one all to crap with 33" tires, a tired 6.2L, and the weight of a CUCV. With 3.73 gears in the 10-bolts that multifuel would be loping...
Excellent M35A2 w/w!! Looks to be complete and in good shape from your little photos. Make sure you take some pics of your voyage home and post a complete write-up in the MV Roadtrips forum! Good luck.
Great to see some Pinzies on SS. I am a Mogger but have great respect for the Pinz and the Volvo C-series. I would love to see some in action up close and personal. There were supposed to be a couple of guys at the Haspin Rally last year with Pinz's, but they couldn't make it. Any more out...
