Yep the one in the above post would help and the one in the link here. Make sure to look at the references in the back of the manual which will provide additional information.
Also you maybe working this from...
I'll leave this up to someone else. I thought you were looking for your own projects. I can't even see the markings on two of those pictures and on the third, they do not appear historically correct.
4G3868 is your registration number for the vehicle. It doesn't really have a civilian equivalent so it's kind of hard to explain. It's like a second VIN but it's not stamped anywhere on the frame. It's assigned by the Army and it's just painted on (and hence someone can just paint over it...
I used to get on the A3 at Eupen/Verviers to Brussels. Sometimes I'd go to or from Brussels via Maastricht or Bastogne---depending on how much time I had, traffic expected and whatever direction the Lord pointed me.
Welcome.
Where at in Belgium? Travelled through just about every nook and cranny of Belgium. Probably spent enough time there to have been declared a resident (LOL).
Won't be going to NJ anytime soon. Running into issues with retirement because they (not me) screwed up the paperwork and they've had 3 weeks to fix it and it's went nowhere. I'm about to go nuclear option and I hate to do it.
Folks I wish I had good news. I won't make it. Going to leave it at that until things get straightened out other than my employer has been known on a lot of occasions to screw up one car funerals.
Let's put it this way also, I was planning to see the folks before my father had surgery...

Incomplete serial number. 04E117 is part of the registration number. If it is 04E1171, I don't have it. The serial number is probably on the right had side frame rail since this is probably a 1962 that was later updated to an A2. NGJ719 is garbage.
