Howdy,
OK, they also might have access to Lister-Petter break-in oil.
OCD about break-in?
Any person which has rebuilt or has torn apart a engine will tell you that the beginning running of a engine is critical to its overall life. I guess the military spec for running break-in oil is just...
Howdy,
I have listed to what I have pushed each style of MEP too. No, I am not abusing them. The government specs them to be load tested to a overage for a certain amout of time.
Howdy,
Looks like there might be a source for the mysterious airtex fuel pump.

Howdy,
I guess I never totally read the curing process.
I had everywhere I sprayed, clean and paint ready. Sprayed lightly, let dry a bunch of days, (saturday to saturday) I have put at least another 20 hours on each of the different engines I have painted. I do not have any issues with the...
Howdy,
Even though I make use of the slave port for 24v charging. I still every now and then hook the NOCO G7200 up to each battery by itself to ensure it is fully charged.
Howdy,
Some simple wire connections and your good to go.
If you have the blue backside gauges, all the info is also here for adding the bulb, socket etc...
Howdy,
The trailer power units package came with a pipe to hose elbow for the purpose of draining oil. A generator skid can use this method too. Just a staright 3/4 pipe to hose barb piece works good to not have oil dribling along the side.

Howdy,
Here is my MEP-803A generator load bank log run.

Howdy,
Loaded MEP-803A with a surplus load bank. I warm the 803 up. I then start stepping through loads.
3kw, then 6kw, then 9 kw, then 12kw, then 12kw+3kw, then I start adding the variable load a little more than half way. Probably adding another 1.75kw to get it up to 133%. I then back off and...
Howdy,
Let me convey some thinking. I myself would rather start with a known broken engine and do all the things I need to do. To start into a engine which was said to have been taken apart and put back together and have the issues you are coming up with... no way. RTV might have its place here...
