Spacers between engine/trans cooler and radiator

I'm not an auto engineer, but I don't think that running an engine arbitrarily cooler is neccessarily better. Engines need to run at a certain temperature and the parts are designed to operate with a given thermal expansion at a given running temperature. Oil and other fluids flow properly at...

    REV truck?

Yeah I think your right. My m1151's is definitely aluminum. Yours looks really clean though!

    REV truck?

Is your roof steel or aluminum?

    REV truck?

I dont think thats the normal m1165 roof. Its too rounded looking. It looks like there were some non armored m1165's with different roofs and no mounting holes for the armor. Not sure how common they are.

Why Blue Hummer Spindle Nuts? Hummer H1’s video answer!

It's hard to tell definitively from the video, but after a second look it does appear from the position of the nut that it wasnt threaded on far enough. The only question is, was it tight once and then came loose, or was it never tightened properly to begin with? He did mention in the video that...

Why Blue Hummer Spindle Nuts? Hummer H1’s video answer!

Interesting. It looks like the tapared bearing wore out which caused the loosness. Maybe as a result of not maintaining the gear oil in the hub?

    Block Heater

I ordered the $15 OEM one (dont need the heater, but its a good price on the cord). We'll see how it works out.

    Block Heater

Lo and behold, I just discovered my truck has a block heater too! Can anyone confirm that this is the right cord? https://www.ebay.com/itm/262717819761?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=Z1GxJ2heTOu&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=sbWPGazcQxK&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY Edit: better...

    Humvee floor mats

Do you notice any improvement in sound deadening? Maybe this combined with doing the floors would make a big difference. EDIT: just re-read your post, nvm lol

    REV truck?

All of my TM's have different procedures for serial 300xxx and up, so unless there is some sort of weird exception I think it's a pretty safe rule. The problem is you usually can't see the fan clutch in the pictures, and probably not the steering box. If you can see the rear diff you might be...

    REV truck?

What am I getting into with an auction truck?!

Possibly, depends on what parts you need. Dont forget that auction fees, tax, and shipping add up fast. And its more expensive to ship a non runner.
