I have six of those single armored lights on my light bar. I replaced the incandescent bulbs with par36 LED bulbs. They each put out 1800lm and run from 10v to 30v. You have to trim the housing slightly to get the leds to fit but it's no big deal.

I heard that also about the air drop setup so it looks like both those other two uses are false. I found some pics of both rail and air drop and it seems definitive.

It depends on what day you are getting there. If you come up on Saturday get there early like 8am or before to get a good spot up front. Most of the camping sites are spoken for but you can alway park on the field if sleeping in the truck.

I will be there early Saturday and hope we get more guys from SS to stop by. I sure hope the weather will be a little better and hope the trail is not a mud slide. That mud is like concrete and a real bitch to get off the trucks.

An very old engine cleaner was to add a qt of kerosene to the oil with the engine cold then bring it up to temp and let it sit and repeat. Change the oil and filter. The kerosene will cut though and dislodge the sludge buildup and hopefully clear up any issues. It does help.

Pick up an inexpensive
Stethoscope to help localize the knocking. A bad injector could be the culprit. I had picked up two nos injectors for 40 bucks shipped from flyaway just in case I may need them in the future.

Never said this is a permanent fix for a broken boot. If a reg boot is good for 80k which seem to be the standard then even if I get half of that or even a quarter of that it would last me years. If it fails I will replace the shaft. Not trying to reinvent the wheel here as I was just looking...
You can pull the head but as many of us here think it won't be pretty. I would pull the head for the hell if it but start searching for a replacement engine. It happens.

With the engine ONLY at 3k rpms the CV shaft speed is around 1200 rpms. That is the only number I have been looking for. If you change the difs gear ratios the CV shaft speed will also change given the constant 3k engine rpm. The portal and the tire are after the fact as I was just looking at CV...
