I think it should work but it is a LOT different. I have the 209-20-3-1 open and it doesn't have the best pics. Is there something missing from the new filter?
I'll continue searching the archives.....
thanks in advance.
We are supposed to get a HUGE storm for these parts. I messed around with the deuce to make sure it was all set and went for a little off-road trip. There was a little area that used to be a hotel and it had some cliffs were the foundation used to be. One side had a 3 foot ledge that I took...
Drove the bobbed Deuce again today. Lincoln lost the brake booster and the M1009 is still broke from destroying the Dana 60 and losing a wheel.
It is a blast and I always get a kick out of driving through the gate. The Marines laugh, I laugh, oh....what a halmark moment......
don't need 'em. I have 6 stock rims. One still has a tire on it. I have too much stuff sitting around and am offering these up to the first person that can come and get them.
NO SHIPPING
Does anybody ever add rear shocks to a bobbed M35? Mine bounces around a LOT. I need to try a little more pressure in the tires to see if that helps but was wondering about shocks. Presently only running 40 psi in the 14.00X20 tires.
thanks
I have been calling around and can't seem to find anybody selling them. Any ideas or does anybody have one that they want to part with? I did a little readneck repair that just failed.
Finally got my 14's mounted on the OD Iron rims and swapped out the 11's. I think it looks really good. Can't wait to get power steering now. FIxed a fuel leak last week betwwen the secondary filters and the pump. Today, big leak on the passenger side above the Turbo. I didn't even know...
I had planned on taking 8 hours of leave today. thge ex wife gave me some trouble last night which made it so I couldn't sleep. Since I couldn't sleep, I might as well get paid for it and decided to go to work. Made it to the base and was on the rumble strips when BAM/SHUDDER/SCREACH!!! Made...
This all started with doing a mild lift to "almost" fit some 36 inch tires. Lift caused some vibes. This is where things went off course.
To fix the vibe, I know have Dana 60s with 4:10s, Flip in the back with lower hanger on the front of the rear springs. New Driveshafts and a slip yoke...
I have been using Waste Veggie for the last year. Usually about a 50/50 mix. Changed the fuel filter about 6 months ago. This week, the truck lost all power. I replaced the filter and it is back to life. Took apart the old filter just to see the inside. Everything was pretty well saturated...
Ok, I can normally bleed brakes quickly. Not working so well on the deuce. I have the -20 open and tried a couple methods outside of the the TM. After that, I went out and bought a vacuum pump, still no luck. All I get is air and a little fluid. I am going to try and build the pressure...
Got some new tires but now I need some rims. THese are mounted on five tons rims.
Anybody know a number for OD Iron. Website doesn't have one and they haven't answered my email.
I think I know why there is no action on this forum. These things work. I have loaded over a thousand pounds of stone and it didn't seem to care. My newly licensed daughter drives it every day and can't seem to break it. I had some issues at first but now, the thing just works......
Waste...
bought the parts from wildwood.com and started drilling holes last night but figured on question can't hurt and might help.
I started mounting this under the drivers seat. Can you think of any reasons not to do that?
I followed the posts that others have done from mounting to the firewall...
I am doing something simple. Trying to add brake fluid. Did a search and downloaded the section of the TM but..... That "vent line" runs to a "T" with brake lines coming out of it. Does the bolt on the resevoir have a swivel on it for the "vent line"? Or do you have to take the vent line...
You guys are GREAT!! Did a little search and found everything needed. Searched for wipers and found NAPA part numbers and bought new arms and blades. Searched and figured out where the wiper knob is. Searched and figured out how to test the motors.
All back together and working!!!
thanks!!!
Truck has been working great. My daughter got her license. I sent her out on her first solo in the truck. I get a call in a few minutes saying that the truck was dead. No light, no anything. I obviously don't believe her. When I get there in the Deuce and check it out, it is dead!! Tow it...
Got my deuce from Bob today. Nice!!! Loud!!! Getting ready for a few projects already. Steering is tight but would think that power steering is on the top of the mod list. Brakes would be second.
Lots of questions to come.....
