My last Blazer I had I run the 24v glow plugs and they worked great I just bypassed the res. pack run 24v straight to the relay. It all worked great. I had a ton of them too that is why I ran them.

Well I worked on the truck between fires this weekend. clean up some of the wiring and tried to start it and again it would not turn over so took the glow plugs out and tried to turn it over with the crankshaft front bolt with a breaker bar still no movement. not good :evil: have not had time...

My group is talking going to Clayton area around the 22-24th of April and do some power line runs around the Ada area between now the then to make sure every ones trucks work after working on last years runs on the river. I will let you know went we plan on a weekend run.

here is a picture of the one I made for mine last oh9 the small areas by the cord reel is where my radios and light controls and siren were mounted the long narrow area was for maps and notebooks and storage in the big covered area.

I'll be putting one in mine and I like them up high (away from water) so I plan on putting mine above the rear view mirror and I'm still thinking about the antenna were to mount it.

WE are working on our trucks to get ready for a trip to the Clayton area probably a round mid April to mid May I will keep you updated and we will probably want to test them out a little before then also so I will let you know before hand.

Not all of Oklahoma has red dirt. We like the South Canadian River when it's down a little more. there is a ORV park in Lexington if you want to stay in the south central part or just the river over by us anywhere from Ada to Calvin

I know the glow plugs are 12v but I have a set from a hummer and I bypass the resistor pack.

I plan to put it back as the military had it. I was looking thought some of my parts and I have a 24v starter so I will go back to that and do the starter relay upgrade and I have some 24vglow plugs also so all I need is two relays ( starter and glow plugs). And then we will is what happens...

well I got me some batteries today put them in and tried to figure out what the PO did to the wirings? He said he converted it to 12 volt but it still has two alt. and it looked like the the wirings is still all hooked up to them as far as I can tell. He has bypassed the starter relay and has...

Need some TLC the PO did some rewiring put some 12 v parts on it. I need to put a back window in it ( it came with one), put the dash back together. put batteries in it and see if it will start. it has been sitting for a year and a half.:neutral:

I locked up a engine in my M1009 with the same problem. Head gasket or cracked head the 6.2's are know for cracking heads (so I'm told).
