Since I work my deuces, I use the old method my dad used when logging with used military equipment....buy 4 machines and keep 2 for spare parts. If a part breaks, take it off another running machine and then you have time to look for a replacement.
It is not as expensive as it sounds...
All I can add is that when I DON'T drive it at least every 2 months, something seems to be wrong when I finally run it: Won't idle correctly, brakes are soft, steering shimmee; shifting is stiff.
I service the truck and drive it frequently for a month or so and most everything works itself...
I run selectros on my deuce. Having the opportunity to run with them locked and unlocked allows for comparison. Much easier to steer and get about 11 to 12 mpg.

Had a roadtrip come up for this weekend. I am flying to Providence RI on Friday and driving back a F350 during the weekend. I will be loaded with 3 wood stoves but may have some room for other items.
