i like the 5 speed. he no idea on real miles on the truck and he wants 1000. seems like a lot. very expensive to rebuild. 4l80e very expensive to rebuild. computer is a lot as well. going to pass on this. 700r4 it is . way cheaper. have a tv bracket now. can a 700 be rebuilt pretty easy...

reservoir bowl in the IP??? is that the top cover held down by the 3 bolt?

working on a tow behind air compressor. The head gasket went bad. got the head gasket done. searched a little bit didn't find it. From what I read supposedly this motor was never used in cars. Was just for industrial use. I need the torque specs for the head gasket and what the rocker arms need...

when I got back home I took off the inspection cover. It looks like the weight on the flywheel is hitting something. The flywheel itself seems to be in okay shape. I turned it over by hand. Teeth look fine doesn't appear to be any cracks from what I could see. Any ideas? Thanks a lot[thumbzup]

switches seem fine. all the fuses on the block are good. big 30 amp? that the one under the dash next to the starter relay? down in brick. need to get back to denville.

finally spends more time on this. Got another fm100 from a guy on Ck5. Installed that and filled the filter with Marvel mystery oil. I figured why not maybe you would clean up the pump and injectors some. have a full 12 gallons in there now of new fuel. Had a bit of a hard time starting in but...
