Look for a used 400 cycle 005A. They appear to be going for less cost from what I have seen. If the "stuff" was through the oil pump and oil bypass was stuck, you can bet it is throughout the oil passages. You may already have main/rod bearing damage. David

There should be a diagram of the oil flow in the TM. You won't be able to reach much of it from the head. There is a oil passage feeding every rod and main bearing that you can't get to without pulling the engine down. Most cranks that I have seen have passages drilled in them. I am sure...

Gimpy is right. Mine was a M103 (double 002's). I didn't pick up that yours was a M116 (single generator-smaller trailer). Get the 10% or so trailer weight on the tongue and it should ride good. What would we do without Gimpy.... Hope you get it. David
