With a 13:1 first gear, who needs low range in the t-case. Then there's at least 4 more gears before he gets to 5:1...

Sorry to Necro a thread, but your PM box is full. Do you have a build thread on the M939 series with the crane? I am putting a HEMMT crane on my bobber project that used to be an M932A2.

I am going nuts, looking for the build thread on this... I know it's a long time ago, but I am putting a HEMMT crane mid ships on my 5 ton.

Fab the rear mount, it won't hurt you. A couple of captured one ton chevy leaf spring bushings will do the trick on the two rear studs, some 3/16" 2x4" box tube and you're all set.
