    Giving up on M135.........

    Have you checked the tiny vent hole in the master cylinder. It's a tiny hole that may be clogged or rusted shut. A too-tight operating rod may also contribute to the problem.

    Timing marks may be on the flywheel. There's a little port to view them. Check an early CJ manual.

    Hi, The M170 pass. seat is the "holy grail" of jeep parts. One turns up on Ebay once in a while. I bought a bunch of 170 parts from a guy in Georgia who was torching them off in a junk yard some where there. The cord-reel work light is hard to find too. The top bows and the pass. side...

    M37 observations and input wanted.

    I have a book that says the later production B1's were made from a different grade of steel and are more prone to rust. Mine is a '53. The brakes could be better. There was a plan to convert to a new master cyl. published a few years ago.
