1992 M998, yesterday I stripped the inside of two on mine trying to get them out. Anybody have a retail parts store # on these or would these be same as a 9x Hummer H1? Thanks Additionally, what do you guys do to get these out. I should have tried some heat I guess.

Trails around here have quite a few rocks and looking for something to protect body. I've found some places that sell H1 Rock Rails. Curious as to what others on here have done? Also, thinking about a skid plate for the bottom. Thanks in advance for any info.

Thanks. Not finding the 23500012 for my 6.2 on ebay. Are these interchangeable? The only difference I see from the pictures is an threaded hole for a hose fitting that connects to the waterpump. On the 12554091 for the 6.5, it rounds out to the front. On mine it's on the bottom.

Another thing I thought of, the guy at Kascar said if you go with a Turbo, you had to change out the drive shafts, is that correct? Also, don't you have to have an inner cooler for a turbo to work correctly?

The engines available come mated to the 4L80E. I'm not sure you get the wiring harness or not. But both the 6.5 NA & Turbo come with the 4L80E. The engines are from Hmmwv's so they would have to have the rear mount turbo. If you go the turbo route, is there a different radiator, were the...

So far it appears the tap to the oil gauge did the trick. Started, tapped it twice and it started working. Turned it off immediately and went back to zero. Change to start and it moves a little and after starting a couple more times, appears to be working now. Thanks everyone.

Thank you for the replies. I went back and checked my Gov Planet report as I wouldn't have bid what I did on this one if it didn't run and have oil pressure. The oil pressure in their test was close to 60 psi. So whatever it is had to happen between their test and now. I won it back in Oct...
