Not really set on wireless, the wired option looks good too, our wheels need a couple more turns than the racing cars but it should be fine.
If using wireless I would use something like an ESP32 with Zigbee for ultra low power and just put items that are not mission critical like the cruise...
I also wanted to go with buttons on the wheel. Looks like VIP Wheels has some options that could work but I'm still trying to get an answer from VIP Wheels,
So far a quick option is to get a Modular Hub/ Steering wheel from Steering Creations:

Are you going to keep your truck inside a covered garage and drive it only to car shows ? Or are you going to use it ?
Since I'm using it I'm happy with my proper coverage.
I wanted it insured first as a truck, then after conversion which can take half a year, I will have to seek insurance again. I learn that the insurance firm wants to insure for what it is, there is no policy that covers truck with intent to convert. If you say mid policy you will convert they...
Hagerty was a hassle, took several days and denied the policy when I mentioned I was going to convert it into an overland vehicle, they also wanted the truck inside storage.
Called Progressive Commercial and got the policy over the phone in 30 minutes. Not for hire, not for personal...
I suspect if you air out one tire the pressure may equalize through the system. As they are all interconnected. Hope that's not the case, but it might be.

Thank you very much for sharing your work. I looked at your code and schematics and seems that there is no Individual tire control, a single relay to release air and one single sensor. So no option of running different pressure in front/rear. I was looking to use the system to help...
I'm trying to get accurate air Intake Specs for the Cat 3126 of a 1999 M1083A1 so I could convert it to Donaldson air filters.
I'm hard headed and don't want to just copy what others did without ensuring proper specs.
I've been trying to find this engine intake CFM specs and so far I could...
If you have a chance to share the Monroe part number, it will be nice so this thread can be finally closed. I searched in their but afraid of sharing the wrong number, it will be nice to get a part number from someone that actually used them.
Yep, Sean goes over the re-wring on the next video. I think he used some Welding cable.
Anyone tested this Alternators for how long they can output 100Amps at Idle and at 1200 RPM ?
Did you ended up installing the 200A alternator ? I'm on the same page as you looking to use it to charge my LIFEPO4 bank while driving as a backup for days with no sun.
Wondering if you ever ended up building this, would ask you about how much extra noise in the cabin would come from the pass through. Wanted to have a truck that we could have a conversation inside without shouting.
