Looks like I may leave the 4 in mine. Replaced the fuel shut down solenoid and manual fuel valve. The manual valve was worn out due to the shut down solenoid being inop. Need to replace the o-rings in primer pump next.
The last 2' plus snow we had I made tracks down our dirt road with the Deuce. When I came back there was a skid steer , a tow truck and three pickup trucks stuck in my tracks. I had to pull them all out to get back to the house.aua
Nice job John. I was going to put one on a duce , but bought two GMC 6500 dump trucks with 40k on them from the local town for $1300 for both trucks. Drove both home. Could not pass it up.
A friend wanted me to tow a large tractor for him. I said i did not feel comfortable towing over the large hills, so he borrowed a trailer and did it himself. Next month I had to replace his transmission for him. :gimp2:
I may put two of the batteries in another truck and see how it does. Check your hose clamps all my coolant hose clamps were loose and the radiator hose was leaking badly after it warmed up. I already put a new top on ,head lamps , repaired the mirror and a few small things.

F18 hornetM I picked my truck up a few hrs behind you at Meade. I put 4 gr 31 batteries in mine. Got it running with some work on the fuel cut off. Need to repair the shut down solenoid now. How does your truck start in the cold with just two batteries?
MDOT stopped next to use with two trucks and big flashing arrows etc and a few guys came walking with large sacks in there hands. Thought it was a clean up crew. They just stopped for a few min and thew down some cold patch in a hole next to us than left. Didn't even look at us not even when...
