    Starter bolt broke

Haven't heard anyone talk about this. Would it be beneficial to put a lock washer on the new starter bolts? Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk

    Speedometer going crazy

Hey All, I'm sure others have seen this and wondered what the fix is. When I start to drive my 1984 M1009 the Speedometer bounces all over the place. After driving it 15 or 20 minutes it stops and starts giving the actual MPH. Wondered what I could try to fix it? Thanks

Rear window crank and TAILGATE WINDOW REGULATOR

This link appears to show the outside handle crank I need? It looks like I need another piece to attach to the outside crank?

Rear window crank and TAILGATE WINDOW REGULATOR

Hi All, on my 1009 the rear window will not crank the last 1 inch or so. Awhile ago I purchase in the box a brand new interior mechanism from a guy. He said it would work. The problem is the part on the interior mechanism that connects to the exterior crank is different. I purchased a new crank...

    Rear window interior mechanism issue

I have a new rear window interior mechanism. It seems to maybe not be standard? I've attach a photo of what mine looks like. I've bought the crank handle from LMC but it doesn't have the correct interior part to crank the rear window mechanism properly. Anyone have any thought on where to get...

Another wiring/ground issue with rear tail light

Hi All, My 1984 M1009 has a left rear tail light issue. At first the whole left tail light, brake light and turn signal light didn't work. I found the ground wire has rusted off. I fixed that and now have a brake light and turn signal. But the left tail light still didn't work. I thought ok...

    Another yard start

Thanks I have some I can replace them with. If I measure right on the glow plug I thought I was getting 24 volts there and that meant they worked? Is that correct?

    Another yard start

Hey All, I think my hard start might be a little different? When I try to start in temps even in the 70's it cranks fine but doesn't fire. Bus if I squirt just a tiny bit of ether it fires right away. They starts almost immediately after that. Both batteries and the starter are brand new. I...
