Which top is the best option for a HMMWV? I am leaning towards a 4 man soft top . Can a slantback be modified into a 4 man hardtop? I want to keep it 4 door.
We have been awarded an HMMWV from Fort Dix and I now need to find a way to get it home. If I can find the right trailer I can come get it or meet someone part way. Any info or options is greatley appreciated.
Here is the problem, I now have one brake light and that is it. The driver's side is all that works. The turn signals quit and the passenger side brake light quit at the same time. What could it be? I replaced the flasher unit with a new one. I have had out the wiring diagram and looked at...
I have seen some portable duct style heaters for sale on here and on GL. My questions: Could they be used to heat a portion of our office building in an emergency? The building is single story and about 8500 square feet. Not looking to heat the whole thing just part of it. Would it heat a...
I have installed the cargo cover on the deuce today and have a question on attaching the top to the bows. I have straps on the bows and loops on the interior of the top but nothing to tie it down to after going through the loop on the top. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
I know very little about the early Dodges but did they make a WC-22 in 1946? If so what would something like this be worth? Here is a picture, it runs and drives but needs brakes. He does have th headlighs for it also. Thanks
I have not had a chance to look at it yet but I have found a 50's 5 ton. The guy said it is a cargo bed, has no top, and I'm guessing a multifuel. Is this combo possible? What would it be worth? Ballpark figure? And I know nopics I'll try to get some tomorrow.
Here are some pictures of the Elder Abuse Awareness truck I have been bulding for the office. It is in the process of having the lettering painted on it in the next few days. Tell me what you think.
I just pulled the pink duece into the parking lot from a short drive and it died. This is the first time it has ever happened. I did notice that it was a little harder to start the last couple of times I fired it up. About five seconds on the button instead of the normal one. It won't fire...
I am trying to get the 50's to rotate so I don't have to remove the tongue of the trailer. It had tabs welded on to prevent it from turning which I have cut. what next? Nothing seems to want to give. Is there a motor or gear rhat I need to remove? I have been looking at the tech manual and...
Is the m35a2's generator a unique item or what other vehicles had the same one? I am getting another duece and seems to have a problem with the generator not charging all the time.
Has anyone ever made the flash suppressors for a quad 50? They don't have to be perfect just look darn close. I know I can buy the real thing for about $39 each but that really digs into my limited budget on this build. Any suggestions?
I am in the process of building a replica gun truck for our Elder Abuse Awareness program at work. The truck I am trying to replicate is NANCY. I need help on designing the graphics for the truck. The slogan is "BREAK THE SILENCE" Anyone able to help design something? Thanks in advance.
I hopefully will be getting my hands on a set of quad 50's in the very near future for a gun truck build. How do the ammo boxes mount to the gun and which are the correct boxes? Will any 50 cal box work?
I just got informed I have another funding source with outreach money that loved our pink bobbed duece. The funding amount is only $3,000 and the theme is "BREAK THE SILENCE" for elder abuse. The colors are red and black. what kind of ideas do you guys have and what is for sale in my price range?
Well here are the final pictures of the bobbed duece in pink. I know I will take a beating on this but my funding source required it. I think it will stand out enough in a parade to do its' job. Be honest and tell me what you think.:!:
I just got my duece delivered today. This was the first time I have ever driven one. WHAT A BLAST!! I was able to get the truck from Ranchhopper and it is in great shape. Can't wait to the weekend to start in on the fun.
