    deuce 4th pic

well, somebody did bring a camera. There's my goofy brother again at the front, I'm by the bed. We hauled the veteran's guest house people, got a lot of cheers. The flag display will be more professional for the veteran's parade, this was hastily planned out

    TM 9-2010, quad 50 mount?

anybody happen to know where an electronic version of this manual is, or have any detailed drawings or pictures of the M55 quad .50 mount? Leafing through the latest MV magazine, there it was on page 28, a blurb about resin guns. I figured why not take my drawing for one .50 a step further and...

When you park your Deuce on a inclined driveway........

I park on a 10 degree slope- backing in is a nightmare, partly cause my driveway is only a foot longer thanthe deuce, so it's very hard to see if I'm about to hit the house (don't tell the neighbors, but I have done that once  ) also, backing up causes much more wheelspin and is...

    4th of July

I had a great time in our 4th parade here. I hauled the Veteran's Guest house people, and got cheered by many hundreds of onlookers. Very cool. Sorry, no pics, my camera batteries died

    multi-fuel deuce diesels?

the compression ignition engine uses pressure to heat the air in the cylinder, and at the precise moment of the most heat/pressure, diesel fuel is injected and it explodes, without the aid of a spark. Some diesels use glow plugs that are provide a heat source so to speak and help to ignite the...

    Noob questions

you should be fine- I'm 6'1", and added 3-4" of foam padding to my seats and there's still plenty of leg room. Your knees won't be touching the dash, they may rub the wheel a bit since i tis quite large though. Not a problem that I see though. I put maybe 50 miles a week on mine, it's...

    4th of July

I volunteered (well, I guess you could say I was volunteered) to be in the 4th parade hauling the Veteran's Guest House staff members. We'll have banners, flags, and the whole 9 yards. Will do so again on Veteran's Day, and try to get pics [thumbzup]

Number plackard on the grill of an M35a2c

the standard numbers for your brideplate will be 08, with the plate above being turned around. You'll only need the C above the numbers if you're towing, in which case you need to recalculate the numbers below :)

    Desplined hubs?

I've got no problems on mine, but like Bjorn I'm putting the splined flanges back on. And the REB shift kit [:)] front wheel drive is more important, as I haven't found it any easier to drive and have noticed little improvement in mileage (though on long trips I'll put them back on). I...

    Machine Gun Shoot/MV Showing June 18th & 19th, near Reno, N

thanks Bill! Man I sure have been forgetful about that lately, I did it at Jack in the Box that night too :) Yeah, we split early, we got to thinking about the one lane out of there, and didn't want to hold up traffic, so we took off after about 30 minutes of night fire. Man, that sure was...

    another BIG and small pic

I've wanted a deuce for the past ten years, but was finally able to justify it when I needed to haul the bucket to the inspection station. I had to rent a trailer, and that sucked, so I said, "no more will I need to rent a trailer if I have a deuce" The bucket is just a blast. Very...

    My new paintjob

sha-weet! I have Aervoe on both my trucks and don't see any problems with it. Sure, it fades a little, but it's tough, and any paint sitting out for years in the sun will fade, no escaping that. The color is a great match to originals and its affordable. Nice job!

    another BIG and small pic

after seeing painkiller's post down the line there, I thought this would be even more humorous- 10' 9" overall, 1800 pounds. that's my goofy brother kneeling by the car

    Deuce muddin'

well, I finally got my bro to scan the slides he took the day I tackled the mudhole. This was back before the paint job but cool nonetheless. Who says four-wheel-drive only won't get you through? Oh wait, I did, in the snow  (click on pic for a full screen version)
