This relay is starter cutout relay. You may have only corrected one of the issues. It still could be K 15 related, but could well be something else. I would have to look at TM. I have not chased around the contactor interlocks.
I do recall someone posting something about -10 manuals. Guilty of the same offense as far as wing and prayer without just reading OP manuals, at first. Now read them 3-4 times until I pick up whatever it is, then have it out and available as playing with new toy.
Wise men have sage...
Well guess should have researched here before today. Bought two of them. Don't have any idea if it will work, but was contemplating trying to see if I could hook it up upstream of my pressure washer turning it into a redneck hot water pressure washer. Could work well but could end up a trip to...
You will get beat up if you post in too many places.
I responded to your other post as well. Make sure that the K15 relay is 120vac coil. Starter lockout relay. The other two ice cubes are 24vdc coils. Mine had been swapped around before I bought it. It didn't burn up the 24vdc ones but boy...

Welcome to the insanity. Here is a little light reading for you.

I would suspect that they would put a lower range thermostat in a gen set destined for Iraq due to the fact of super high ambient temperatures. A higher range for a colder climate. From what I've read these units are most efficient at around 180- 190 degree range. So it would stand to reason a...
Have you done the governor adjustment procedure? If gain and stability are set correctly I would think it is something else. I agree that two separate controllers exhibiting same symptoms unlikely. Possible could be a fuel issue, pinhole air leak? I had another style gen that you could turn on...
On your surging unit if you put a DVM leads set on vdc across terminals J and H (5.3 vdc at low speed and 11vdc at high speed), I would bet money that your voltage is going to be bouncing on these terminals. This output should be stable in proportion to load on gen set which determines its speed...
The governor control puts out 5.3 vdc at no load and 11vdc at full load according to TM. Mine is actually like 5.9 and 11.4 or somewhere there abouts if memory serves. Had one with failed governor (24VDC+ output from J&H) and it would definetly wrap the engine up to high rpm. I think most of us...
After fighting through some of the issues I have experienced with these units, my biggest fear is parts availability with primarily the inverter. They are complex but an intermittent glitch has caused me to go through the whole wiring harness. The relationship between the the interposing relays...
