Actually I once though the same thing. I was one of those guys who scratched tickets. I thought it was a $$$ thing, found out that wasn't so, only parking tickets went to the city, the rest went to a big pot for the state. I stopped scratching $$$ tickets, and went with fix it tickets. Those...
Cuz he had nothing better to do, and I bet his shift sergeant has been riding his butt about productivity. The old saying, a ticket a day keeps the sergeant away, so true.
Anyways....this week, I built and installed a solar battery box to house 4 golf cart 6 volt batteries for my solar off...
Busy week for me. I finished installing the loft bed, built a box for the water holding tank/ARB Frig mount, replaced some stainless steel flue pipe for the dickensen wood stove. I also installed cedar cove moulding around the inside of the "livin area". Then I made a batch of apple pie...
Installed stained glass windows inside the living quarters of my deuce rv conversion.
These are claimed to be recycled from a church in England. I like them. They are mounted on the ceiling as skylight covers.
Finished installing one of two stained glass windows in my rv build, framed out the windows, touched up the paint. I'm happy with the glass, it's from England and is reclaimed from a church. If the weather warms ups just a bit, I'll be able to finish the second window.
Painted POR-15, sound deadening install, then mounted custom dual honda eu2000i generators. Will paint to match when weather is better. So, this week me and Secret Squirrel installed a receiver hitch, two 170 watt solar panels, the above custom generator box. SS even brought two fuel stank...
Well Secret Squirrel arrived, began and finished install of two 170 watt solar panels into custom mounts, then mounted to roof, finished install of dickensen marine stove, installed receiver hitch (piece of cake) when you have the correct tools, painted with POR-15 the dual honda eu2000i...
Exactly why I did it, I saw the Black Mesa decal on a pinz from a member here, looked totally cool. Gotta be different. Even the windows have zombie covers and the rear door is from the US Navy ship that "disposed" of a certain terrorists body. Secret Squirrel #2 has some pretty good contacts.
No it's a decal, the guy I purchased it from isn't responding to my emails, he's on this site -- I'll take my business elsewhere, he's not the only gig in town. I just wanted to spend my $$$ with members on this site. No biggie.
I bought mine via eBay, the seller ended the auction early. I drove to inspect the vehicle, offered more that the current highest bidder was offering, he saw $$$ signs and we struck a deal. The deal initially included delivery for a dollar a mile, again he saw $$$. The delivery fell through...
Ok correction....
So, here's my zombie proof generator box, custom built by Secret Squarrel, there's even a 12 volt electric radiator fan mounted on top to aid in cooling. This holds two honda eu2000i generators side by side, each roll out independently for service. Once mounted, sound...
Well, I finished the ceramic tile countertop, test fitted dickensen solid fuel stove, and installed bout 80 percent of my closet cedar liner planks on the interior. I just received two additional boxes in the mail today so I will be able to finish up the remaining 20 percent. Secret squarel #2...
Well after taking two months off because I tried really hard to cut off my left pinky, 25 stitches to reattach it, so much for my hand modeling future. I resealed all the seams on the roof, installed roof vent covers, build a solar battery box and the installed one of two 46 gallon water...
Well I was "lucky enough" to be stationed at Kadena AB, Japan, Detachment 1, 9th SRW., I got to see these planes up close and personal. The photo is of a "habu" at the end of a runway.
