Yes you will need one, Not sure if a truck repair shop would have one that works. I think eastern surplus listed it on there web site. I believe its a rare tool, friend of mine cut off an input shaft and used that.

Exactly right Barrman, Tools borrowed from your local dentist will take that lock ring right out. A buddy and I were at Habor Freight and he laughed when i bought a set of those, Only until another buddy broke down some time later out in the woods... I had the hub out in 30 seconds 5 of which...

No, They will not clear on the back tandems, even bobbed you should have a little lift . Lots of posts on bigger tires on deuce's, Even one where a gentleman spread his back axles to fit 14.00's. :drool:

Powerhouse, Did you own the 5ton tractor with the stacks? If so what happened to it? Also how'd the deuce with the t831 firestones do compared to the other deuces with ndt's? great pics fella's!!

Don't see why not, just keep an eye on the master cyl. It doesn't hold much fluid
