    Yes i could have winched, but my only tie off point was a telephone pole... with 20 ft. of strap added i could have reached the road, but giving the traffic at that time i would have caused a backup. And that would have cause alotta one finger waves!!!!!!!!!!!:x

    Hope my local pd. knows they can contact me for this kinda stuff. There was a tri.axle unloaded dump truck with a eagar beaver tag stuck down the road from me not long ago, it basiclly laughed at my 10 wheeler spinning on wet grass:oops:. But i did pull out my buddies cj7 last night:grin:

    Thanks, i did have the four ways on to warn traffic that i was backing up... Maybe that overloaded the circuit.

    On saturday night i had been driving my deuce for about 1 hour at night with the lights on(of course). I briefly stopped at a buddies house and as i backed into his driveway all the lights went out, head lights and dash lights. It kinda shocked me so i put the light switch to off then back on...

    Looks great! Did you happen to take any b4 and after measurements? Bumper height- axle clearance? with 9.00-20s then with the 395s? Now that i see those tires on the stock wheels i might be able to purchase them!

    I pulled my buddies m816 with the deuce... Slow and steady but it saved lotsa money, cause i don't charge a hook fee like the local wrecker co. would have. Getting up and going won't be as bad as stopping, use common sence, and give the old girl a work out!

    i have never been to an auction, so my question.... I'm going and looking for a few things for my deuce, will i be able to purchase single items or will i have to bid on large amounts of the same thing? Example, need a door can i just buy one or will i have to buy a pallet full of doors?

    I used PB Blaster Decal Remover, a rag and elbow grease. Worked great. Hope that helps!

    its coming from two of the bolts by the oil canisters (behind the compressor but before the canisters) hope thats a better description.

    I dug up this old post , because i tracked down my oil leak to the oil cooler. It appears to be leaking out of two of the bolts, do you think sealant applied to the threads will stop it or should i replace to gasket?

    yes the wrecker is harder to get out , but with three winches you know its coming out. the pain about the deuce is after 10 ft. of winching you have to stop and spool out b/c the cable wraps in one stop not across the drum

    Yes, bridge truck wheels with 52" tires. We had a blast this weekend in our trucks but running winch cables for three days really took its toll on us.
