mike, didn't notice your question...yes! Several more, guys have been calling the church and it is scrolling on the bank's sign. Looks like we will have more than 20 vehicles pretty easily. I've been washing and painting my truck, my dad got an alternator for his truck.
I'm trying to...
You should be able to add a second fuel tank on the deuce where the spare tire and pioneer rack would normally go to give you an extra 50 gallons (that is my plan), and then another auxilery tank in the bed to give you as much as you want. Of course, you can also add jerry cans all over the...
For the really high prices that some ask for a bobbed deuce or 5-ton they must be really uninformed of what these trucks actually cost. $2500 for the truck, $600 in parts for the bob, $500 for a decent trailer with tarp and bows, $400 or so in hemtt wheels (triple that for deuce wheel adapter...
I think something needs to be mentioned, calling anyone a "nut", "nutjob", "nutbag", "crazy", or "clown" because of their hobby or opinion on a public forum is not polite. I've not seen anyone here rip on someone for a way of life, religion, race, or creed like a couple on this thread have...
I've seen the T831's go for $100-250 each. At top dollar you have $2,500 worth of tires sitting there and a truck for free! Of course you will have to find a buyer at that price and they'd have to be willing to pay about $500 in shipping if out of state.
Now days some of the surplus...
I think it is appropriate to store up something for "just in case", in fact my deuce is my "just in case" vehicle, but it doesn't just sit around for that purpose only. It is also a great hobby! It is enjoyable to be in parades and all kinds of stuff like that, but I don't think we should knock...
Hey, I got one too! I've been watching 5-ton tractors for quite awhile...your's has some sweet tires on it. It was actually cheaper than the deuce I bought off GL!
I have 16r20 tires lined up, hemtt wheels, and a deuce bed all lined up! Now I just have to start horse trading and handing out the cash and then wiat for all the paper work to clear on the truck and I'll have one exactly like this.
It will be sweet and I'll take lots of pictures.
The OD Disease, as it is affectionately called is very contagious and it spreads easily to others you are in contact with. I got the bug and then my dad got the bug, he also purchased a deuce.
It should be noted that the disease is much less contagious with females.
Also, if you have one...
ok, someone buy my wife's 2004 Tahoe so I can have some money to build a truck like this! It will look awesome next to my deuce with 46" tires. Then no one can say, "Wow, that deuce in a half is huge!"
Outside Family, are you the devil? Tempting me. I have a line on 4 16r20 brand new XZL's on wheels, I'd only have to find 2 more. If I bought one today I might have it in time for the military vehicle show.
You are tempting me! Look at me rationalizing and trying to justify a wild purchase!
