I was over at the former El Toro USMC air base on Saturday helping Key Largo (Walter) work on his M35a2 and noticed this rather odd attachment on his steel mud guards. Its on all four of them same location and height of attachment. Anybody know what their on their for? Thanks Mike

I was helping my friend Walter today change all his fuel filters. And I ran across this one in the lower 1st (primary?) location. Looks like a old one. And it looks like a better one than the replacement we got from Ted's. Any idea where to get this kind of filter? I tried to look them up...

I need to clean the Passenger canvas seat cover. Its in good shape, with no holes in it. How can I do it without shrinking it? Just a little soap in cold water and hang it dry ? I'm open to sugestion. Thanks Mike Bogner

I've taken the 2 plugs out of the front axel and put in 3 tubes 14oz of Delo Grease EP NLGI-2 (the blue stuff)just on the passenger side. If the thing was totallly empty, how much grease do these things hold? Nothings poped out of the pulg holes....Damm my arms are tired! Did I screw something...

Got my M105a2 from Barstow, and was wondering what is the correct type setup for the wheel's / wheel ? Its a 6/1985 Turtle Mountain. From what I've seen of the GL site, they all look to be the 2 smaller metal wheel. Nor the single larger one? Any thoughts on the matter? (See attached pix)

I'm in the process of changing out ALL the hoses in the cooling system & flushing it out as per Bjorn's instruction's in MV Mag. Do I need to "Burp" the cooling system to get all the air out of the knooks and crannies? Inquiring minds want to know! Thanks Mike

Is the current Dot 5 brake fluid have silicone in it? Is this what I'm suppost to use, I'm going to power flush my brake system, and the Dot 5 looks to be correct. Just wondering... Thanks Mike
