    Burning B20 in my M1009

I doubt you will notice anything by running B20 for some time. Your biggest concern will be the return lines for the injectors, the return caps, and the flex hose right by the IP. You can change them all up front for about $50 - or just change them as problems arise...

    Burning B20 in my M1009

Properly made biodiesel is NOT corrosive.... The hardened components of the Mil-Spec IP in the CUCV trucks should stand up to biodiesel just fine. Its been said that todays 'ultra low sulfur' diesel is just as harsh on IP's as biodiesel, if not harsher due to the lack of lubrication.

    Burning B20 in my M1009

I have run B100 numerous times in my 1009. you may have to watch some of the soft fuel lines over time. Depends on how old said lines are.

    CUCV-II, South Florida Rebuild

For that... I suggest AutoEnginuity® - OBD2 Scan Tool - Professional PC and PDA Diagnostics buy the base package, and the enhanced GM pack. It will let you read codes etc on any OBDII, as well as with the GM pack, you will be able to diagnose almost every system in any GM OBDII vehicle. Well...

    CUCV-II, South Florida Rebuild

Been there - done that... I replaced the 6.5 in my 95 Burb last year. For the record, you can lift the engine out with the torque converter attached to it still. While you are putting it together, relocate your PMD - save yourself the hassle now! Maybe even buy the IP without the PMD and get...

    m1009 life expectancy

I beg to differ here - they do awesome with plowing. You do need to keep in mind the 'weaker' axles, but I have to say that my 1009 is the best plowing truck I have ever been in. Even better than its replacement (95 suburban) The short wheelbase makes it very easy to navigate, and the...

    another 700r4 queston

I was able to re-use my driveshafts.... My lockup is wired via a toggle switch - but DO NOT do that on an older 700R4 - you will burn it up.

    another 700r4 queston

Detents are on the transmission itself. The way the linkage is designed it works fine. I am not saying there not a difference in columns, but that the stock CUCV column works just fine. I can get to all gears in it. The indicator even was in the appropriate spot (before it quit working)
