I should have also explained why the truck is going to Caterpillar. We want every thing rubber replaced. Also a good check up / tune up. This truck is going to be a critical part of our lives for at least the next 3 years.

OK, we are home Rick and your suggestion is first thing on the agenda. Thank you sir. We have tools coming out of our ears, soldier A is a tool junkie. Moved another 300 miles toward home after buying an extension cord and heat gun. Hubby spent about half an hour heating up the entire air system at some point the truck started building air and we were on our way a few moments later. He says all valves will be serviced or replaced when we get...

    Turned away from camp grounds??

The whole concept of being treated like this is a total bummer. We have never had an experience like this (yet). Quite the opposite every time we have had an outing in the Drago Wagon it has been an open house from the time we parked until the time we pulled out. The big girl loves the...

DIY camper box construction- what sizes/wall thickness steel or alu have you used?

Rustystud, firefinder basically gave the total summary of the WEST SYSTEM. Great products great people. We typically buy from West Marine locally. They have a price match program that we haven't been able to out due, and amazon has it as well if you want it delivered.

DIY camper box construction- what sizes/wall thickness steel or alu have you used?

The key to the West System is the perfect environment. Not too hot and not too cold. Also making sure that it is mixed thoroughly and applied fast. Buy their pumps and when they get nasty replace them.

    M1A2 Abrams RC 1:16 Scale

There is a small clear receiver turret on the top of each tank, and that's what you want to shoot at. More research is showing 1/24 scale not to be too popular.

    M1A2 Abrams RC 1:16 Scale

It's an addiction! Here are four of ours. The two big ones are 1/16 scale Taigen tanks, made in Germany. Price is in the $400 to 600 range, but they are worth every penny. The high end versions are about 90% metal and weigh around 25 lbs. They fire air soft BB's about 90 feet. They also have...

Please talk him out of this

Forgot about the paint OMG! Soldier A is doing a lot of web surfing and phone calling when I'm not around, apparently. So, now everything on the motor is going to be hot rod metallic red, because of some TV show clip of a guy named Stacy David building an inline 6 hot rod. Then there are all...

Gaskets and seals are here Inventory, tax prep and shop setup have been eating up every waking hour as of late. So, we are a little behind in posting about progress and asking questions. However, we have some good news. Using the parts list that everyone has worked so hard on, we ordered the...

RE: Trailer hookups missing USMC, it looks as though all of the plumbing for the trailer brakes was removed all the way back to the air tanks. So, we will have to start from square one on that issue. If we pull all of this off before our busy season starts this will be a miracle.

Trailer hook ups missing Soldier A noticed that all of the trailer hook ups are missing from the back of Ramona. Upon further inspection, there is no plumbing in the frame rails. Is this common or did someone rip this stuff out?

Thanks and blinker pictures USMC, Napa did come through today, but it was a bit pricey. I will add the information you sent in your PM to the supplier list. The head honcho at the Sumner Napa is an old iron guru so that might be one of the bigger breaks we have had lately. Here are the...

Please talk him out of this

Third post today OK, I love soldier A but he has definitely lost hos mind. He just came inside soaking wet, because he was outside in the rain under Ramona again. It would seem that the oil pans have several different types of bolts holding them on. So, mister anal retentive wants to replace...
