Why can't you just tap into the hazard fuse in the fusebox, it should be constant on without needing to turn the key to any position? I don't own a cucv, but have had a ton of chevy trucks and could do it with all of them?
Well you are doing a helluva job, and I know the prep is a bitch and time consuming, but **** well worth it in the end,,, looking forward to the pics of the finished product!!
Wow it musta taken forever to prep that for paint,,, prolly should have an investment in 3m for all the tape and paper ya needed!! LOL,,,, seriously cool job!!
That is a **** of a kit,,, I do a little fab work myself (my 94 cherokee I transplanted axles from a 76 ford f250, relocated the gas tank, added a full rollcage and bumpers all of which I did the work myself) so I have a real appreciation for what you are doing!! Bravo!!
Well, I ended up trading my cherokee for a 2001 dodge 1500 quad cab 4x4 with 76,000 original miles.....I wanted a cucv but no one around here had one,,, so I suppose I will fix up the lil bit of body damage on the truck and sell it,,,, then I will just have money to go buy a cucv down around denver!
