During warm up my M1009 kicks into high idle for about a minute or so and then settles back down when it is warm, is this what yours is doing?

The outside shock is listed with same part # as the single shock part #.

Where did GM list K5s or M1009s at 74 inches? Every spec I have seen listed said 79.

Cool Idea. I once thought of doing the same thing in the early 90s before the M1009s became readily available.

I must add that the shocks I bought for $20 each from LMC are made in the USA.:)

Bought the $20 ones from LMC and have no problems so far.

Rode in more than a few from mid 80s to early 90s.

I would like to replace these bushings but my LMC catalog lists many different sizes for the front and the rear, does any body know what sizes the M1009s use? Thanks for any help with this.

Sorry I didnt get back to you sooner. No I dont plow snow, it is a reference to being a farmboy. I have lived most of my life near Ririe or closer to Heise. I was only away long enough to spend a few years in the Army. I graduated from Ririe in 1982.

I take it your a Dodge fan and there is nothing that a GM made truck could do to change this? 880s are a fine truck but they have problems also. You own one 1009 and that ****s the whole lot of them? Get the truck you like and trust and go from there.
