    I have not tested the vacuum yet but when I do pull off a vaccum line the engine really gets bad. Ill check vacuum today. And yes I rebuilt the carb. Only think i haven't done is replace the plugs but I did clean them very well. They looked pretty good.

    Fuel pump glass bowl. Is there a filter?

    Yes, I still have the firewall filter as well as the intank filter. My tank was completely rusted out so I'm going through the entire fuel system to get her back up and running.

    I have a Carter M2090 style fuel pump that has the glass bowl attached. Is there supposed to be a filter element that goes in there? If not, whats the purpose of the bowl? Sediment or something? I have searched and searched and have not seen one picture with an element inside the bowl.

Just today I found a dog tag sized plate on the upper left of the firewall (engine side), near the passenger side hood hinge. The numbers on the plate says 49102-19788. The 49102 is a larger font size...
