Thanks Andrew. It's always good to know about newer terms and applications and how they are perceived in todays world. I always knew the term patch and how it was written by vendors for operating systems, but never for applications like what we see here. The government could not function without...
Well if you meant a software "patch", why didn't you just say so. ;)
No ambiguity, no confusion, no negative connotations, all of which are in software hack.
I'm getting old! I just don't understand you young hacks. :patracy:
There are no friends on CL.
Just tire kickers. Most annoying group of people in the world.
Anyway, toby said it best. What's a hack. I'm sure it is subject to interpretation in some manner. I have heard it used in so many different ways, referring to people, referring to annoying code...
I can see that. I did not make any comment to that effect. He is on ignore from my standpoint.
I was only referring to all the comments made on the original post, and staying on topic. Every comment has been immediately shot down by a Moderator as soon as it got published. Just let everybody...
Sure, no problem. I was referring to the original post, where questions/comments were solicited about ethics and others posting on one individuals, or one vendors classified. It seems for every answer or comment given, it is quick to be shot down.
It becomes evident Moderators are all in the...
So it is. It was just deleted in the last two minutes. Not sure why, but probably because he might not have obtained them yet and was fishing to see if anyone was interested.
A SSer was inquiring if anyone would be interested in bridge plates. He did not specify the color. I reminded him it...
I commented earlier, but now, I have found a good and helpful reason why some people can help with posts on a classified ad.

Seems like it would stop the poaching process, where underhanded people PM or email the vendor and try to undercut a price.
I find it to be reasonable and of little impact to those who pay for the priviledge to sell their excess on SS.
No reason why people cannot use Private Messaging to...
Broken shaft woulc have been the work of GL or DRMO in moving it with a forklift. Has he ever had it running, or did he get it non-running and never get it fixed? How long has it been sitting? Winch is worth probably $1500 or so mounted on the truck, so there is the most important thing you have...
Andrew,
Could you make his trailer picture on the front page a link to his "build" thread. It would be nice to have a nice easy link for reference. I know it's in here somewhere.
Or Ray, if you could just post it on this thread.
NO KIDDIN'...
I now have a new found respect for them thar Yankees. You gotta be tough as nails to withstand the wind, icy slush, and snow, not to mention the cold that will make you shrink while fully dressed and dry.
God Bless them. Stay warm up there guys!
A warehouse GL trailer would be perfect. You can remove the long tongue or leave it in the upright position for space saving.
They are metal based frame with wood floor. The floors are usually in bad shape when sold. I have seen some with metal floors, but it is a certainty they will be badly...
I'm assuming Lindsay means TNJ Murray, out of Dover, Delaware. That's a long haul. Should be some folks along the way that could take advantage of that one. What a fantastic offering. Someone, please, if I have this wrong, please let me know so I can edit this out right away...
I've always wondered the exact weight. Did any search indicate the exact weight, or just approximate.
Next time I scrap a M 105, I'll pull the bed off separate and weigh it to the pound. should be doing one next month.
Those Florida boys got a bunch of clout! Talk about a come from behind win.
Congratulations Rayzer. Now are you going to have that at the Fl. MVPA meet on the 8th?
Just out of curiosity, and asked by the ignorant, what tires and wheels are on that jeepZ.
Is it the same as the M37, or 5 lug 9X16s.
Edit; Google says 7x16s
EVERYTHING! at his prices. Clean him out.
You can probably make some money on the side to help fund your project if you get every single part available.
Bundle it, like that cheap fella on American Pickers.
