I just added a third seatbelt in my Deuce, just in case I needed it. I have a carseated granddaughter that loves riding with me, so when her Mom wants to ride she can feel safer now. I found some retractable seatbelts in a prop bus at our fire training center and I added them to the original...
Nope, the way you see it is how it sets right now. From the inside out, thinking about 1/4" plywood, 3/4" foam insulation, and tar paper all up against the stake rails and ribs, then maybe a silver tarp over that and everything under the green tarp. With a door and the AC out the rear covered by...
I got the same "Confirmaton" e-mail also. Kohburn, I was there for Sale #5114 and got this 1970 M35A2, planning on making it a Convertible Bobbed Deuce. I learned about the export letter from my trailer purchase and sent it in with my EUC for Sale #5114. I couldn't find anything, anywhere...
I'm working hard on making my new M105 into a RV with lights and a AC for my granddaughter and myself to sleep in, so I'll throw my name in for an electric site  I'm not sleeping in the M35 again, just in case someone needs "the winch" again!
I'm coming with my 5 year old granddaughter, she can't wait!!:jumpin:
I don't have a CB in the M35, but I do have a "CD" in my pickup! Is that close enough?
I was there last week picking up two M105's. I stopped at the check in building with all my info and told them I was picking up two trailers from the GL site, they gave me a day pass and said to have a good day. It all went very smooth. Their check in was just like all the other bases I've ever...
Okay, the deed has been done and the fun is soon to began! Thanks SixSpeed and Vinny! Now, if I can only make my M105A2 into a RV trailer by then, I'll be sleeping good!
I leave for New Jersey to visit my daughter on the 8th and get back on the 15th, so for me the first weekend offered would be better. Thanks for putting this one together, which ever weekend it falls on! I've also got two kayaks to bring if I can fit them in the back of the M35
Sounds like another great event, and I will be there to enjoy it! At least that way we'll have a winch if it's needed! rofl Let me know what I can do to help!
I found my jack shaft with one missing bolt, six really loose bolts and one bolt almost tight. I saw the bolts were to short for the lock nuts, as the lock part of the nut was not on the bolt when I tightened them down. Had to buy eight longer bolts and new lock nuts to make the job right. :(...
Years ago when I was just starting out as a young mechanic, the shop put me to work on a truck that had no brake lights. Now a seasoned mechanic had worked on it, off and on, for two days. He started at the front checking fuses, the turn signal and the brake wires. I went over to the rear, took...

Thanks everyone for letting me come out and play with my new truck! I had a GREAT TIME and got to meet some GREAT PEOPLE  And I used to think driving a big, red, fire engine emergency was exciting. Now it doesn't even compare to the fun I had Saturday in that little mud hole! Thanks for...
Yep, I'm hooked all right! And it only took one drive :driver: in Phill's M109 to get me that way too! Thanks for all the praise on my new ride I got from Tim! I'll be at the FL Rally this weekend, I'm looking forward to seeing everyone there and some warmer weather too. I'll be back at the...
