Its on 60 Amp breaker, and the label says MIN CKT AMPS 39.1, new Trane 4/17. It starts the unit with no trouble, it just the tuning of the line monitoring controller. We didn't put the current transformers on the utility side, should have then we have logs on power Co also.
This is not about any particular generator, mostly about learning about how they work and loads. This is new 36kva Perkins turbo/meccalte single phase alternator and a Deep Sea 7320 line monitoring controller
learning curve about loads. The 36kva genset set shutdown, Deep sea controller watches...
We have some strong winds in Florida and I never seen a set of high tension wires drop, CA just never did any maintenance, spent all the money on administration and high dividends. Cut the dividend, fire the admins and start cutting trees and new services
NFPA 30 TANKS LESS THAN 275 gallons must be 5 feet space

It is too bad about all there fires, but you would think that tree trimming and brush removal would be standard affair. But I do find humor that the oh so green state, is having the equivalent of 3rd world electric, and all those dirty generators will be running.
Finding the right check valves at cheap price was hard

look at the Pic they are on T. Both vents are normally closed but will open in one direction with a 1/4 #. Tank breaths in and out through the silica. Been on three months and still blue
They did a good job getting gas to the stations, waved weight limits and got a trooper escort. I still haven't filled my 55 gal drum, all night truck stop about 12 miles away.
PERMIT APPROVAL final got it we turned in the wind report along with all the engineer diagrams. $149.00 Everybody told us you needed a electrician to pull a permit for 30kva with ATS but we got a homeowner installed permit.
I think the 802 and 803 are prefect for most homes with moderate load sharing, and manual cutover system. If you need larger and want automatics transfer and exercising along with logs buy a new unit in a nice aluminum/stainless cabinet with dedicated single phase with a digital feedback voltage...
You can't leave the top side of the gel open or it will collect moisture from the outside. This way the valves keep it closed until 1/4# of pressure in or out. The black tank sits out in the sun all day so it burps, at night when cools it wants air in. Otherwise the warm moist air coming cools...
Here is Pic of a home made tank drier vent, that 2 lbs of silica gel inside that clear 4" pvc. on top are two check valves with a 1/4 lbs open rating. The top and bottom 2" reducers are not glued. Wiggle the unit out take inside remove the top pour crystal on cookie sheet heat in oven at 250...
Only permanent installs need a permit, but each install requires an engineered wind calculation with an official seal. No assumptions allowed. We turned in our permit request with wind statement on Tuesday waiting for the approval, they wouldn't even take any money. The reason we are pulling a...
For those of you who decide to pull your own permits I found an Engineer who will do your wind permits without visiting the site.
